TRAINING YOUR DOGS CIVILIZES THEM FOR A HAPPIER, SAFER LIFE

REASONS TO TRAIN YOUR DOGS

You will understand them

Oftentimes, we make assumptions about our dogs. We try to figure out what they are thinking and why they are behaving as they do. Oftentimes, we are wrong. Training teaches you what makes your dog tick, and thus you become a better trainer and owner.

The dogs will be safer

A dog that won’t listen and obey is in harm’s way. The world presents many dangers to a dog. If your pet is trained well and will follow your commands, it is less likely he will be hurt or severely injured.

Peace in the home

We do not want our pets to ruin our homes and show aggression to our families. If pets are calm and relaxed, living in harmony with their owners, they will be happier, and the entire household will experience the full joy of living with a peaceful, well trained animal.

Other dogs will be friends not foes

There is nothing pleasant about a dog snarling, barking, and snapping at other dogs. Their owners don’t appreciate it, and they will not want to be around that pet. An aggressive dog won’t play well with others and will find himself increasingly lonely. However, if we train our dogs well, they will experience the joy of playing happily with their canine friends.

When you aren’t home, they behave

No one wants to return home to find prized possessions destroyed. A ripped book. A torn cushion. A chewed couch leg. Training your dog will create a gentleman or woman– a pet who can be trusted at home while you are gone.
